Who I am?

Professionally, I am an expert on agricultural risks and international agriculture. After graduating as agricultural engineer at Hohenheim University, Stuttgart, Germany and being awarded a PhD in agricultural sciences from the same university, I joined in 1993 a reinsurance company in Munich. During my time in the agricultural division I have been working in a wide variety of markets on five continents. Before joining the company, I worked as a researcher in greenhouse research projects in Kuwait and East Germany at Hohenheim University, and as a manager of a greenhouse operation in Ibiza, Spain.
